The Tim Bates Competition Assistance Fund (TBCAF) is an annual grant made by the Victorian Tasmanian Parachute Council (VTPC) each year to promote competitive performances, achievements and contributions to sport skydiving by Victorian based skydivers. 

The grant is to provide financial assistance for training and competing at the Australian National Championships. The successful applicant (team or individual) will receive:

• 20 training jumps at a Victorian DZ, and
• $300 for coaching

Applications for the 2027 Nationals will open once Nationals are announced by the APF.
